Madison, WI – June 4, 2020 – In this time of remote board meetings, committee meetings, and annual meetings, SUCCESSIONapp, LLC has now made it easier to do board succession planning remotely too. The firm has created a software feature in SUCCESSIONapp® that allows directors to complete intentions forms and director competency strength forms virtually, using any device that can receive an e-mail. And with a click of a button, the board succession model in the software is updated.

Yvonne Evers, the Founder and CEO of SUCCESSIONapp® explained, “Even before the pandemic we were working on a process that would give clients the ability to update director information in the software without having to collect it from them and then enter it into the software manually. One of our clients called this new feature “very slick” and said, “I can’t believe that with very little effort we can get an updated model in the software to work from.”

Having this new feature will allow new credit union clients to create their board succession plans with the help of a facilitator without having to be in person at the credit union. Evers said, “There is no need to wait for everyone to be comfortable with in-person meetings again for boards to get their succession plans done. It can be done virtually in a 2 – 3-hour session.”
